JALALABAD (Pajhwok): A group of 100-member mobile patrol policemen have been formed in eastern Nangarhar province for improved security, an official said on Friday.
Deputy Police Chief Mawlavi Mohammad Tahir Mubariz assured the residents of Nangarhar that mobile patrol personnel would serve them around the clock and would never get tired.
He said the group is equipped with all necessary materials and would continuously patrol in all Police Districts of the province to prevent crimes.
Mawlavi Tahir said that two security personnel would discharge duty on one motorcycle and would monitor all parts of the city.
He asked people to inform motorcyclists when there is something suspected happened.
Local residents have expressed happiness about the formation of this unity and termed it an important step in the prevention of crimes.
