KABUL (Pajhwok): At least six people have been killed and eight others wounded as a result of a helicopter crash in Pakistan's northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, a media report said on Sunday.
Radio Mashal reported the helicopter belonging to Mari Petroleum Company Limited (MPCL) crashed in North Waziristan district late on Saturday.
It said six people lost their lives and eight others were injured in the incident. The Mi-8 helicopter had 14 individuals on board, including three Russian pilots.
The crash was caused by a technical fault and no signs of sabotage were detected during the initial investigation, the report added.
