KABUL (Pajhwok): At least 100 people have been killed and 359 others wounded in fresh Israeli airstrikes on Lebanon, a media report said on Monday.
The strikes took place on Sunday, the Vice of America (VOA) reported, citing a statement from the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health.
It said more than 100 people lost their lives and 359 were wounded in the latest Israeli attacks.
The ministry did not provide details whether those killed were civilians or members of Hezbollah, But reports say mostly civilians had been killed.
The Israeli airstrikes have surged in Lebanon since last week. Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrullah was killed in an Israeli raid on the group’s headquarters on Friday.
