Power supply deal: Omari invited to Ashgabat for talks

KABUL (Pajhwok): Turkmenistan has invited the chief executive officer of the Da Afghanistan Breshna Shirkat (DABS) to Ashgabat for talks on extending and signing the electricity supply agreement for 2025.

In a post on X, DABS wrote CEO Dr. Abdul Bari Omar held a telephonic conversation with Turkmenistan Minister of Energy Annageldi Saparow.

It said the CEO assured Saparow economic cooperation would be expanded and strategic relations strengthened between the two countries.

Saparow highlighted the importance of bilateral cooperation and formally invited Omar to Ashgabat to sign and extend the electricity supply agreement for 2025.
