Heavy rains, floods predicted in 14 provinces

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Transport and Aviation has predicted heavy rains, floods and wind storms in 14 provinces of the country.

The ministry wrote on its X page that today and tomorrow heavy rains and floods will likely lash Badakhshan, Nuristan, Kunar, Nangarhar, Laghman, Kapisa, Panjsher, Baghlan, Parwan, Kabul, Logar, Paktia, Khost and Ghor provinces, including the Salang pass.

It predicted rain in some places from 15mm to 40mm.

The ministry wrote relatively strong winds with dust would hit northern, western, southeastern, eastern and central provinces, including Salang with speed at 50 to 80 kilometers per hour.
