Afghanistan, Oman meet in 1st warm-up T20 today

KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghanistan-A and Oman A are all set to square off in their first warm-up T20 match today (Wednesday).

Syed Naseem Sadat, spokesman for the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB), told Pajhwok Afghan News the informal game would commence at 2:00pm (local time).

He said the two sides would meet in their second friendly T20 match tomorrow (Thursday).

The national squad will also play a tri-nation T20 series, involving Afghanistan A, Oman A and Hong Kong, commencing on October 13.

Afghanistan-A will also participate in the ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup, which is scheduled to get under way on October 18 in Oman.
