KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Interior (MoI) says that police have arrested a man accused of raping and murdering a minor girl a few days ago in western Herat province.
Mufti Abdul Matin Qane, a spokesman for the MoI, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the suspect first kidnapped and raped the girl before killing her "brutally" in the Enjil district.
He added that the detainee has confessed to his crime.
