KABUL (Pajhwok): Two tribes have reconciled, ending six years of enmity in southern Zabul province.
The Ministry of Border and Tribal Affairs (MoBTA) announced that the reconciliation took place in the Karezgi area of Qala City, facilitated by Acting Minister Mullah Noorullah Noori and provincial officials.
The long-standing enmity resulted in the deaths of two individuals and injuries to four others, causing significant ethnic divisions between the tribes.
Despite previous efforts at reconciliation, the conflict persisted until the MoBTA intervened.
