2 die, as many wounded in Maidan Wardak crash

MAIDAN SHAHR (Pajhwok): Two people have been killed and two others injured as a result of a traffic accident in central Wardak province, an official said on Saturday.

Police spokesman Mohammad Yousuf Asrar told Pajhwok Afghan News the collision between a Saracha-type vehicle and a truck took place on the Kabul-Kandahar highway on Friday.

He said a minor girl and a woman lost their lives and a man and another woman were injured in the accident. The injured were evacuated to a health center.

Yesterday, a traffic accident caused 10 casualties in Syedabad district.
