Badri, Xing discuss economic cooperation, investment opportunities

KABUL (Pajhwok): Chinese Ambassador to Afghanistan Zhao Xing has called on acting Petroleum and Mining Minister Hidatyllah Badri and discussed matters related to joint economic cooperation and investment opportunities, a statement said on Sunday.

The Ministry of Petroleum and Mining (MoPM) on its x.com wrote that during the meeting, the further development of economic relations between Afghanistan and China, joint cooperation and investment opportunities were discussed.

Without giving details, the ministry said that the two sides have also discussed the latest developments in the Amu River Zone Oil field and Miss Aynak projects.
