Afghanistan VS Hong Kong final called off due to rain

KABUL (Pajhwok): The final match of the triangular series between Afghanistan A and Hong Kong A has been abandoned due to persistent  rainfall but Afghanistan was declared the winner on the basis of the most wins and high points, the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) said on Tuesday.

The final match was scheduled to be started today (Tuesday) at 1:30 pm. The tri-nation tournament was started on October 12.

ACB on its Facebook page wrote: “The final match of the three-way championship between A team (Afghan Abdalyan) and Hong Kong was canceled due to continuous rain.”
