KABUL (Pajhwok): A Kyrgyz gold-panning factory has expressed its keen interest to invest in zinc processing in central Maidan Wardak province, the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum said on Wednesday.
The ministry wrote on its X handle, acting minister Mullah Hidayatullah Badri met with Almas Baig, chief for Allatoy gold panning firm and former deputy of mines ministry of Kyrgyzstan.
The head of Allatoy Company shared information about activities of his company and expressed his company’s keen interest in gold panning in Afghanistan and the creation of a company for zinc processing in Maidan Wardak province.
Badri welcomed the interest of the company and assured cooperation in accordance with the mining law and other relevant regulations.
