KABUL (Pajhwok): The National Procurement Commission (NPC) has given the go-ahead to more than a hundred projects worth 35 billion afghanis during the current solar year.
As many as 124 projects have been approved by the commission since the beginning of the current solar year, the office of the deputy prime minister for economic affairs said in a statement.
It put the total cost of the projects at 35 billion afghanis. The schemes are financially supported by the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA).
The projects approved include the construction and reconstruction of highways, canals, dams, retaining walls, health centres, airports, railroads, water supply networks power-generating plans.
