KABUL (Pajhwok): The construction of three sub-roads has been completed at a cost of 27.2 million afghanis in Kabul.
In a post on X, the Kabul Municipality said the roads had been constructed in the Gulbagh area of the 20th police district.
Funded by the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS), the projects accounted for 27.2 million afghanis.
These projects included retaining walls and culverts, which were constructed in five months, the municipality said.
Meanwhile, residents of the 20th district expressed happiness with the implementation of the projects.
Many of their problems had been resolved and they had gained access to civic amenities, they said.
Residents promised to cooperate with the municipality in the maintenance of the new roads and other urban facilities.
