Kabul (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) said the total volume of trade with Iran reached over two billion US dollars during the first nine months of this year.
Akhundzada Abdul Salam Jawad, a MoCI spokesman, said in a video clip, "During the nine months of 2024, our exports and imports with Iran amounted to two billion and 194 million dollars."
He added that this figure included 38 million dollars in exports and 2 billion and 156 million dollars in imports.
According to him, the main exports to Iran include minerals, raisins, lead, various beverages, and sesame seeds, while the imports consist of diesel fuel, petrol, raw materials for factories, natural gas, cement, and other goods.
