KABUL (Pajhwok): Acting Minister of Commerce and Industries Nooruddin Azizi has said that the economic programmes of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan have attracted countries in the region and beyond, a statement said on Friday.
Azizi said this during a meeting with some representatives of the private sector, a statement from the Ministry of Commerce and Industries (MoCI) said.
It added the meeting was held under the chairmanship of the acting minister for greater coordination and order in the travel plans of the government delegation and the private sector of the country to the city of Almaty in Kazakhstan and their participation in the international exhibition of the Afghan-Kazakh.
Azizi emphasised the economic policy of the Islamic Emirate, the experiences of past trips and holding exhibitions, and said that now the IEA economic policies have found a place in the countries of the region and the world.
He asked the participants of the international exhibition of the Afghan-Kazakh to make the most of the days they are in Kazakhstan, because holding exhibitions provides the basis for the globalization of trade.
According to the ministry, the four-day international exhibition of the Afghan-Kazakh is scheduled to be held on October 19 in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Afghan businessmen and entrepreneurs will also be present in this exhibition and will display their products in 67 booths.
