KABUL (Pajhwok): A Ministry of Mines and Petroleum (MoMP) delegation has invited Chinese firms to invest in Afghanistan.
Last week, a delegation from MoMP headed by deputy minister Wahidullah Halimi travelled to China to attend a ‘Conference on Increasing Cooperation for Better Future’ in extraction of mineral resources.
The delegation met representatives of CAPEIC and Yellow River firms, the ministry said in a statement.
It said the two sides discussed various topics, including the value of Afghanistan’s oil and gas reserves and investment in the country.
The delegation invited the firms to invest in Afghanistan and assured all possible cooperation.
