KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghanistan trounced Macau 9-0 in their second match at the Central Asian Football Association (CAFA) Under-17 Championship qualifiers on Wednesday.
For Afghanistan, Mohammad Norozi and Wariz Shirzai scored two goals, while Arash Ahmadi, Sahil Sarwari, Nasir Ahmad Mohammadi, Navid Mahboubi, Waris Razaghi, and Yaser Safi chipped in with one goal each.
Afghanistan are placed in group B alongside with Bangladesh, Cambodia, Philippines and Macau in CAFA qualifiers.
Earlier, the national squad had trounced the Philippines by 8-0 in the first match in the tournament.
