KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghanistan has exported agricultural products worth $737 million in the past nine months, says the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs office.
In a statement, the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs said that agricultural products worth $737 million were exported to various foreign countries over the past nine months.
The exported goods included:
Cotton: $162 million
Raisins: $93 million
Asafetida: $80 million
Figs: $97 million
Onions: $37 million
Saffron: $35 million
Tomatoes: $35 million
Apricots: $30 million
Almonds: $30 million
Cumin: $30 million
Mung beans: $22 million
Pistachios: $21 million
Grapes: $15 million
Apples: $13 million
Tobacco: $13 million
Medicinal plants: $13 million
Cucumbers: $10 million
Potatoes: $1 million
These products were exported to various countries, including Iran, Pakistan, India, Turkey, China, Russia, the United Arab Emirates, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, the Netherlands, Germany, and others.
