KABUL (Pajhwok): The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) has condemned Israel’s attack on Iran and asked key stakeholders to stop Israel from expanding violence in the region, a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) said.
It said: “The actions of the Zionist regime, in addition to what is considered a clear violation of the Islamic Republic of Iran's sovereignty, are an attempt to further intensify violence in the region, which may further complicate the already fragile situation in the region.”
In the statement, the IEA has asked all influential parties to stop Israel from expanding violence and crimes in the region.
Former President Hamid Karzai, former HPC Head Abdullah Abdullah and countries like Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Oman also condemned Israel’s last night attack on Iran and termed the move a violation of international law. They called for curtailing Israel’s aggression.
