1 killed, 3 injured in Faryab motorbike collision

MAIMANA (Pajhwok): A teenager has been killed and three others injured in a traffic accident in the Andkhoy district of northern Faryab province, an official said on Sunday.

Police spokesman Maulvi Abdullah Muradi told Pajhwok Afghan News that the accident occurred when two motorbikes collided late on Saturday.

A 16-year-old man lost his life, while three others, aged between 19 and 20, sustained injuries.

Mohammad Nasim, a resident of Andkhoy, said that there were three people on one motorcycle and one on the other, and they collided due to excessive speed.

Dr. Sangar Omar, director of Andkhoy Hospital, termed the condition of the injured as critical.
