KABUL (Pajhwok): At least 85 people lost their lives and 41 other were missing in one of the Southeast Asian archipelago’s deadliest and most destructive storms, media reports said on Sunday.
Fox News reported heavy flash floods damaged the northwestern areas of the Philippines more and there is a possibility that the casualties will rise.
“The number of dead and missing in massive flooding and landslides brought by Tropical Storm Trami in the Philippines has reached nearly 130,” the source said
“The storm was forecast to batter Vietnam over the weekend if it did not veer off course”.
The victims need help, president Ferdinand Maracos explained.
“The Philippine government shut down schools and government offices for the third day on Friday to keep millions of people safe”.
This storm is one of the Southeast Asian archipelago’s deadliest and most destructive storms so far this year.
