Afghanistan trounce Bangladesh, secure berth in Asia Cup

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Afghanistan under-17 national football team secured berth in the 2025 AFC Asia Cup by defeating Bangladesh.

In their final match of the qualifiers, the national team triumphed over Bangladesh with a score of 3-2.

The match took place at 1:30 PM today (Sunday), and Afghanistan finished as the group leader with 12 points from four matches, ensuring their qualification for the 2025 Asian Cup.

Goals for Afghanistan were scored by Yasir Safi, Milad Noori, and Arash Ahmadi.
