KABUL (Pajhwok): Six construction projects costing 47 million afghanis have been completed in Kabul, the municipality said on Thursday.
Kabul Municipality wrote on X handle these construction projects were completed in Qala-i-Barqi, Kart-e-Naw, Hazrat Bilal Mosque, in Qala-i-Hashmat Khan and Qala-i-Hassan Khan areas to provide transportation and social facilities to residents.
The municipality said the roads constructed were 5,861 meters long and 3.5 to five meters wide, which had been paved by the Municipality and the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS).
The projects consumed 47 million afghanis and took four months to complete.
According to the municipality, about 200 people worked on the projects, adding similar projects will be planned and implemented.
