Family of deceased sextuplets provided 250,000 in assistance

MAIMANA (Pajhwok): The father of sextuplets in northern Jawzjan province says that the office of the acting prime minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) has provided him with 250,000 afs assistance after all his six babies died.

Three days ago a woman hailing from the Dawlatabad district of northern Jawzjan province gave birth to sextuplets at the Provincial Hospital. Doctors said that the mother and babies were in stable condition.

But Mohammad Amin, the father of newborn babies, said that last night all his sex newborn babies died in the Hospital.

He said that his wife suffered a lot during her pregnancy and visited doctors in Maimene Faryab, Jawzjan and Mazar-e-Sharif several times and was affected by the loss of her children.

Mohammad Amin, 44, said he has three daughters and one son but the problems and difficulties she went through during the pregnancy of her wife were unprecedented and he did not notice during the pregnancy of his other children. He said the office of the acting prime minister provided him with 250,000 afs today (Thursday).

It is pertinent to mention, that five weeks ago a woman in the Pashtonkot district of Faryab province gave birth to four children and all of them died after one week at a hospital in Mazar-i-Sharif.
