Weapons, ammunitions seized in Khost

KHOST CITY (Pajhwok): Security forces have seized a number of weapons and equipment and arrested six suspects in southeastern Khost province on Saturday.

In a statement, the police headquarters said counter-terrorism personnel seized five Kalashnikovs, a rocket, one PIKA, thousands of Kalashnikov, Dushka and PIKA’s bullets, telecommunication devices, hand grenades and different equipment during an operation.

Six people were also arrested in connection with the seizure and they were currently being investigated.

Earlier, small and heavy weapons, thousands various bullets and other military ammunitions were seized by security forces, the statement added.
