Wrestling contests featuring 350 athletes begin in Kabul

KABUL (Pajhwok): A wrestling competition featuring 350 wrestlers from 15 provinces was held in Kabul, the Olympic, Sports and Physical Training Committee said on Saturday.

The committee wrote on X platform the wrestling competition was held in Kabul city’s gymnasium and will continue for five days.

In these competitions, athletes have been divided into teenagers and youths categories to select 40 athletes for the teenager national team and 40 others for youth national team.

These competitions have been launched by wrestling National Federation in cooperation with the Olympic, Sports and Physical Training Department.
