Afghanistan’s baseball team heads to UAE

KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghanistan’s team has left for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to participate in the Arab Classic Baseball contest.

The Afghanistan Baseball Federation (ABF) wrote on its Facebook page Wednesday the national squad departed for the UAE last night.

The Baseball United Arab Classic tournament is scheduled to get under way today (Wednesday) in the UEA.

The event features teams from Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Palestine and Nepal.

Afghanistan will play their first match against India on November 7 (tomorrow), the second against Bangladesh on November 8 and the third against Pakistan on November 9.
