KABUL (Pajhwok): Two roads and streets have been concretised at a cost of 15.5 million afghanis in the capital city, the Kabul Municipality announced on Thursday.
Kabul Municipality wrote on X the projects were completed in Qala-i-Bakhtiar, Gulkhana and Jabarkhan areas the sixth police district with the cooperation of the United Nations Office for Projects Services (UNOPS).
Maulvi Abdul Khaliq Badr, the district chied hailed the completion of the projects as an important step in resolving people’s problems.
He urged residents to pay attention to the maintenance of streets and roads to prevent them from being damaged.
Municipality official Eng. Zabihullah Rahimi explained the 1,226 meters long and one to six meters wide streets and sub-roads had been concretised in sixth district.
The projects accounting for 15.5 million afghanis were implemented in four months, the municipality said.
