KABUL (Pajhwok): Deputy Prime Minister Maulvi Abdul Salam Hanafi has called on Afghans to unite in defending the country’s territorial integrity and system, stressing that collective efforts are key to Afghanistan’s progress.
In a statement, the Presidential Palace said that Maulvi Hanafi met with several influential figures and leaders from the Shia community on Thursday.
During the meeting, Asadullah Sadat, speaking on behalf of the attendees, expressed satisfaction with the improvements in general security and underscored the importance of continued efforts from citizens to strengthen stability and peace in the country.
Sadat pointed out that Afghanistan’s infrastructure had been severely damaged during years of conflict, and the Afghan people had endured significant hardships.
He stressed that the country was now entering a phase focused on rebuilding and delivering services to the people.
For his part, Maulvi Hanafi reiterated that Afghanistan is a shared home for its entire people, and the Islamic Emirate, as the responsible government, is committed to serving the nation.
He emphasized that the development and prosperity of the country depend on the collective efforts of all citizens and called on everyone to unite in defense of Afghanistan's territorial integrity and system, working together for the nation's future progress.
