KABUL (Pajhwok): Defeating his Iraqi and Indian rivals, Afghan cueist Saleh Mohammad Mohammadi has found way to the World Snooker Championship semi-finals.
The Afghanistan Snooker Federation (ASF) wrote on its Facebook page that the national cueist would play his semi-final match in Wales today (Saturday).
ASF said Mohammadi would square off at 11:30 am (local time) against his Welsh opponent. Mohammadi would earn Afghanistan a medal, the federation hoped.
Separately, four other Afghan cueists are participating in an event in Qatar’s capital Doha, a contest that concludes today.
