KABUL (Pajhwok): German charity Peace Village has contributed 40,000 euro in cash aid for treatment of children with burns and bone fractures and says it will continue its donations with the Afghan Red Crescent Society (ARCS).
On X, ARCS wrote officials of the Peace Village, Yen Yasen and Mrs. Claudia handed over the cash aid to Deputy Director Hafez Azizul Rahman on Monday.
It said Azizul Rahman appreciated continued donations from the Peach Village organization of Germany.
The Deputy Director said humanitarian aid and services of the German Peace Village were efficient and effective in solving problems of needy and destitute families..
Financial manager of the charity, Jane Yessen, thanked ARCS for its services and explained they would continue to assist the Afghans.
