9-suspected robbers detained in Herat

HERAT CITY (Pajhwok): Security forces have arrested nine suspected robbers in western Herat province, an official said on Thursday.

Police spokesman Ghulam Nabi told Pajhwok Afghan News the alleged thieves had been held in separate operations in Rubat-i-Sangi and Guzra districts and the 8th police district of the the provincial capital.

He said mobiles, motorcycles, a weapon and other stolen items were recovered from detainees.

The detainees have confessed to their crimes and their cases have been referred to judicial organs for further investigations.
