Children among 5 killed in Meransha blast

KABUL (Pajhwok): Five people, including four children, were killed and 14 other persons injured in a bomb blast in the North Waziristan District of Pakistan on Thursday, a media report said.

Mashal Radio reported the blast happened early morning in Meransha’s Tapi locality inside a house.

“Some people put explosives in a Mazda vehicle when a blast took place and destroyed a nearby house as well, a woman and four children were killed,” the source said.

According to reports 14 people, including three women and seven children, were injured in the blast.
