KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Transport and Aviation has predicted heavy rain with thunderstorms and flash floods in 23 provinces.
The ministry wrote on X that today (Friday heavy rains, thunderstorms and lighting could hit Badakhshan, Nuristan, Kunar, Nangarhar, Laghman, Kapisa, Parwan, Kabul, Logar, Khost, Panjsher, Takhar, Baghlan, Bamiyan, Sari Pul, and the Salang.
It said heavy rain, lightning and floods are expected in Daikandi, Ghor, Ghazni, Uruzgan, Helmand, Kandahar and Zabul provinces.
The ministry said 15 to 30 mm rains were expected in different places and there was possibility of snowfall in high and cold areas.
