KABUL (Pajhwok): The Deputy Minister of railways has left for Iran to discuss increasing transportation via Khawaf-Herat railway and bilateral railway cooperation, an official said on Saturday.
On X, spokesman for the Ministry of Public Works (MoPW) Mohammad Ashraf Haq Shenas wrote, a delegation headed by Maulvi Mohammad Is-Haq Sahibzada, the Deputy Minister of Railways, left for Iran.
In this visit, the parties will discuss the increase of transfers via the Khawaf-Herat railway line and bilateral rail cooperation.
He explained the visit came in response to an official invitation of the Iran Railway Administration and for the purpose of expanding railway cooperation.
