KABUL (Pajhwok): The Ministry of Martyr and Disabled Affairs (MoMDA) says more than 10 billion afghanis have been distributed in cash to widows, orphans and special people through banks over the last five months.
Mufti Faisal Khamosh, spokesman for MoMDA, said in a video clip the amount had been paid to the vulnerable individuals in a transparent manner.
He said 653,000 widows, orphans and disabled people were registered with the ministry, which was striving to deliver aid to the deserving widows, orphans and disabled people through banking channels.
