JALALABAD (Pajhwok): The Public Health Department of eastern Nangharhar province has distributed medial kits to 420 families in Hesarak district of the province.
District’s Public Health Director Dr. Bashir Ahmad Ahmadi said these kids were distributed to 420 people with financial support of the World Food Programme (WFP) and Afghan Women’s Education Organisation (AWEO).
He said the kits were given to the residents of remote areas of this district who lived far from health centres.
He explained the programme was aimed at enabling residents of remote areas to perform first aid treatment at their homes in winter.
