MAIMANA (Pajhwok): Three people died and a fourth was injured in three separate traffic accidents in northern Faryab province, an official said on Wednesday.
Dost Mohammad Dost, Head of accidents investigation, told Pajhwok Afghan News a vehicle veered off the road and overturned in Khwaja Qadooq area on the Faryab-Jawzjan highway and left one person dead and another one injured last night.
The second accident took place when a person was killed after being hit by a motorcycle on Chahar Samavar road in Maimana city. A child was killed last night after being run over by a motorcyclist in Bibi Ayna Gozar area in the seventh district.
Ahmad Fahim Tokhi, Head of Traffic Accident Department, confirmed these three accidents, but he did not provide details.
