Badakhshan hospital ward to get new building

FAIZABAD (Pajhwok): Construction work has been initiated on a building for the Emergency Ward at the provincial hospital in northeastern Badakhshan province, an official announced on Wednesday.

Funded by the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), the two storey building was being constructed on 75 square metres, Deputy Director of Public Health Qari Nazir Ahmad said.

He added the project would account for 60 million afghanis. The structure will have 10 beds with all advanced medical equipment.

Adequate health services would be provided to residents of the province with the execution of the project, the official concluded.
