KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghanistan’s acting minister of defence and the Iranian ambassador have discussed the strengthening of bilateral relations.
They also conferred on good neighborliness, enhanced trade, border security cooperation and problems of immigrants.
On X, the MoD spokesman wrote Minister Maulvi Mohammad Yaqoob Muhajid met Iran’s Ambassador Hasan Kazimi Qomi in Kabul.
“Both sides discussed strengthening friendly relations, good neighborliness, trade, border cooperation and issues of Afghan immigrants. They emphasised their readiness to expand bilateral cooperation in various fields.”
Also, the Iranian embassy in Kabul wrote on its X handle Qomi, who is also Iran’s special representative, talked about implementing the agreements between border commissioners, increasing border security and dealing with insecure trends.
