Iran backs intel community’s constructive efforts for Afghanistan  

KABUL (Pajhwok): Iran has announced support for every constructive effort of the international community for Afghanistan, a statement said on Friday.

Iran’s Ambassador and Special Representative for Afghanistan Hassan Kazemi Qomi has said this in a meeting with the Deputy Political Representative of the United Nations Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) Georgette Gagnon that Tehran supported every constructive initiative of the international community for Afghanistan, Iranian Embassy in Kabul wrote on its x.com handle.

The Iranian Embassy wrote that in this meeting, the two sides exchanged views on issues related to drugs.

Earlier, the Iranian envoy met with the Acting Defence Minister Mullah Mohammad Yaqoub Mujahid in which the two sides talked about strengthening bilateral relationships, traded and border cooperation.
