120 Palestinians killed in Israeli strikes in Gaza

KABUL (Pajhwok): At least 120 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli military strikes across the Gaza Strip over the last 48 hours, says a media report.

The military strikes hit a hospital on the northern edge of the enclave, wounding medical staff and damaging equipment, Palestinian medics said on Saturday.

Among the dead were seven members of a family whose house was struck overnight in Zeitoun, health officials said. The rest were killed in separate Israeli strikes in central and southern Gaza, Reuters reported.

Also reports say Israeli airstrikes killed at least 20 people in central Beirut on Saturday, Lebanon's health ministry said, one of the deadliest strikes on the heart of the capital since Israel began its assault against Hezbollah.
