KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghanistan received more than 390 tonnes of relief items since January 2024, the European Union (EU) said on Sunday.
On X, EU wrote the fourth humanitarian aid flight arrived in Kabul.
“A new flight of the EU Humanitarian Air Bridge to Kabul has just landed, the last scheduled this year”.
“Humanitarian aid cannot replace economic development. We need #EducationForAll to build sustainable solutions,” it explained.
“In 2024, a total of four flights carried over 390 tonnes of vital relief items, delivered across the country”.
Earlier, European Union's representative to Afghanistan Veronica met with acting minister for economic affairs Qari Din Mohammad Hanif, , and announced the allocation of $100 million in aid to Afghanistan's agriculture sector.
