KABUL (Pajhwok): The embassy of Afghanistan in Islamabad has announced it will remain closed for all visitors today (Monday) due to the current situation and protests in the country.
The mission wrote on X: “All visitors are informed the embassy of Afghanistan in Islamabad will stay closed on November 25 due to the current situation in Islamabad.”
A large number of supporters of Pakistan’s former prime minister Imran Khan from various parts of the country are marching on Islamabad, calling for his release.
According to local media reports, all roads leading to the capital have been closed, with internet and mobile phone services suspended.
