Lightning strike kills couple in Badakhshan

FAIZABAD (Pajhwok): A lighting strike killed a man and a woman in northeastern Badakhshan province last night, and official said on Monday.

Arghanjkwhah district chief Qari Habibul Rahman Fateh said the incident occurred in Doab Shiva area last night.

He explained a lightning strike hit a house and killed two persons and also caused heavy financial losses. He said it was difficult to reach the snow-covered area.
