FEROZKOH (Pajhwok): Seventeen reconstruction projects costing more than 13 million afghanis have been completed and put into service in western Ghor province, an official said on Thursday.
Mayor Maulvi Aminullah Sharifi said the projects included concreting roads, repairing culverts, constructing retaining and protective walls, repairing municipal facilities, resurfacing asphalt roads in Ferozkoh city, and constructing sidewalks and boulevards.
Totally, these projects valued 13 million and 588,300 afghanis and had were funded by the Ghor municipality.
His department plans to implement more infrastructure projects to provide convenience to the people next year, he added.
On the other hand, Ghor residents are happy with completion of these projects and emphasized on implementation of more development and economic projects.
