Afghanistan, BD to meet in U-19 Asia Cup opener

<p style="text-align: justify;">KABUL (Pajhwok): Afghanistan U-19 and Bangladesh U-19 are set to meet in the ACC Men’s U-19 Asia Cup opener tomorrow (Friday) at Dubai Cricket Stadium.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The match would commence at 9:30am local time, the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) wrote on its Facebook page.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The national squad will meet Sri Lanka U-19 in their second group stage match on December 1.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Eight teams, participating in the ACC Men’s U-19 Asia Cup have been divided into two groups.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Arch-rivals India and Pakistan are placed in Group A along with the hosts United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Japan.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bangladesh are placed in Group B. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semifinals.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Both semifinals will be played on December 6 whereas the final clash is scheduled for December 8 in Dubai.</p>
