TRINKOT (Pajhwok): Two water supply projects worth nine million afghanis have been completed and put into service in the Chori district of central Uruzgan province, an official said on Sunday.
Nangyal Habibi, head of the Rural Rehabilitation and Development Department (RRDD), told Pajhwok Afghan News two clean water projects had been executed in the Khan Jan and Zargari villages.
He said the projects completed with the cooperation of MEDAIR Organisation and equipped with solar system and cost nine million afs.
“With these projects thousands of families have been provided with clean drinking water facilities,” he said
Local residents have been thrilled with the completion of drinking water projects.
