KABUL (Pajhwok): The acting minister of public health has left for China to attend an international conference and talks on further strengthening bilateral cooperation in the health sector.
In a statement, the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) said Noor Jalal Jalali left for China on Monday.
In addition to attending the conference, the acting minister will also meet Chinese health officials.
The two sides will discuss ways of standardising Afghanistan’s health system and paving the way for comprehensive global cooperation on meeting its needs.
The statement did not provide further details about acting minister’s visit to China, which has been supportive of Afghanistan’s development.
